Update

Hey yall welcome back to My and Matilda's Blog! We have been having a blast so havent taken the time to update yall! Matilda is sitting on my back(laying) and watching me type this...i think she just wants to be nosy to make sure we show yall what we have been up to...Well we have been to work 2 weeks...a week witout kids a week with kids. My students are amazing my staff aka co-workers are awesome! God has blessed Matilda and I both. So even though my scheduule is crazy again and Shes in her kennel for 7 hours a day...we still manage to have mama and tilly time...She doesnt like me to leave her and work..but she does enjoy the toys and food and treats she gets by me working lol! ANYWAY ...Life has been good to me. I do have praises and prayers to ask for...My 2nd friend has died of cancer...sigh...this one was just 33 leaves behind 2 young kids...a son in 2nd and a daughter in 6th...A husband as well. I know the song home free is a great song for her...and her family... This song was used at my stepdads funeral when i was in 9th grade...Norman wasent always a nice man to me...But he was the only man that let me call him dad...so I guess in all He was a "dad" just a dad that wasent a good one...Meaning he learned to be a dad by watching and feelinng the abuse of his dad...he passed it on to me...Im glad to say I didnt pass that one to anyone! So many kids are abused and neglected abandoned...I have wondered why God will give people kids who hurt the precious treasures...And to people who would be awesome and loving parents/mothers etc.. no kids...I know he has his reasons...I know he aches when kids are abused however could he plan the abuse so more people would be able to love kids unconditionally? to teach them that God is a good God and He will save you and give you to the true parent? We wont know this till we get to Heaven, But I think he knows that when you put a great struggle infront of a child the child will overcome it and if they believe in him as they grow up and or in adulthood then he will make that person STRonger...God is amazing!

I hope you all have  a great school year! My praise is that my mama is 60 my grandparents are 81 and they are still strong!

SUMMER IS ALMOST OVER...WHAT???

YES its official summer just has 2 more weeks in my case! This has been an awesome summer for me and a lot of my friends and family! I am 35 years old now, Im Divorced and the proud owner of a 2012 toyota corolla...I have my sweet Matilda and my family and numerous friends who smothers showers me with love and prayers.I am so blessed beyond reason! I hope that you are blessed to! I have a fb friend/blogger friend who has adopted many treasures,as she calls them) She has taught me , well reinforced my feelings and belif that no matter what the child's race, is or the "uniqueness" Its still a treasure from above.I truley belive that God is amazing and he has hand picked these kids for her before they were even born. He rewards her I think by the devotion she gives to Our God. I think one day I will be rewarded with the love of "my own" child...Might not be from my gene pool or blood, however from my heart it will be. Now onto something most dont know about me...I have a cousin who I havent seen in about 3 years...It breaks my heart to know this cousin, who is not  my cousin by blood but by marriage, yet I welcomed with open arms and love just as much as my other blood cousins has hurt his family. I was there when his first 2 boys were there...I basked in their joy...When lil boy 2 were born and I heard  lil boys mama say...we so wanted a girl...Can you check to make sure its really a boy? It broke my heart, Here was this perfect lil boy a gift from God and all she thought about was she wanted a daughter...I held that lil precious babe in my arms and as i teared up even now...I said "Dont you worry lil man, I love you and I will always love you, no matter what." I swear I think he smiled!(gas prob) But My heart changed so magically...I knew then I could love a child that was not from my blood, from my womb and give it sooo much love no matter if it was a girl or boy. I know all parents would like a certain sex at time, However I feel it is what God decides you need...My cousin now has 4 awesome boys...Havent seen them since their 3rd son was about 3 months old...Their new son was born in late june or july...I learned this from words of mouths not from my cousin or his wife...My awesome aunt weeps for her "first" Son, it doesnt matter to her that she didnt birth this boy, he IS her Son...I cant imagine how this has hurt his father, my uncle...My uncle never really shows sadness...Im haring this because I wanted you to see...blood doesnt matter PEOPLE...its the love that grows in your heart...You dont have to feel life grow in you...to know this is your child. Look at the awesome lady with lots of treasures!!!! She really has a quilt of many colors...I also am thinking there's at least 1 more treasure for her out in this world.Maybe through her kids, kids or them adopting another child. My family i feel is a alot like hers...we are close (my family) and when you lose a family member it hurts so bad...I actually Mourn for my cousin...and his wife and their 4 awesome boys...I wish he could read this and know...no matter what "people" have said or done, you are told to forgive. I wish He would realize that  by doing what hes doing...hes hurt so many people that loves him, yet still love him even though he has hurt US....

Please pray for my Aunt, Uncle, my cousin's family and even my cousins 2 siblings who never get to see him due to someone saying he cant...Please pray for my family as we keep moving on but missing our love one...

Plz pray for this year to be an awesoe year, and maybe a year of mending fences and reconnecting as a family of whole!

Ok A lil over a month...

Ive just wanted to have awesome junk to tell yall thats been happening in my life...(and Matildas)...

So on June 22 I went to round rock texas for my friends bach. party...It was awesome yet a very busy crazy weekend...went back home and worked another 4 days till I once again came to Round Rock to enjoy my Vacation...during that time My friend Got married I met a few more awesome peeps and I had the 4rth! I head Home tomorrow to see my family and my sweet matilda! here are the pix of my whirlwind vacation (:

susie and dan...They met later in life but were soul mates...Forever she will be missed!

Been a while....

Hey summer has started! We had a blast in Port Aransas...minus the boat fishing trip...but in all it was awesome! Today was my first day of vbs...man its gonna be an awesome week! HUgs keep ya updated!

What a week!

Happy last 2 weeks and 3 days of school left! Another praise is that I got esy...it is summer school for special ed kids. However instead of elem. kids Ill have High school kids! Yay what fun!!!

As you can tell Ive had a busy week and Matilda has had a tough week!(she had to get lots of belly rubs and toy time with grandma since I was busy!)

I SURVIVED FIELD DAY AND WEEK 1!

FIELD DAY AND WEEK 1!

So today was field day. I took my 2 kindergartners out there and didnt lose either 1! Of course having the teacher in my room with me helped a lot. Im learning to use my "angry face" And my firm voice...Somethings wrong with my firm voice cuz one of the boys just look at me and laugh...hmmm! I think the other boy is accepting me as a teacher...well almost lol! We have 6 boys out of 8 kids...the girls we hardly ever see. We try to mainstream as much as we can and thats good for the kids.

these are not my kids nor anyone at the school however it shows yall what fun my lil dude had doing this!

I know matilda loves me because she came to me after she did her buisness and needed me to help her with her potty issue...YUCK..oh well a mother gotta do what a mother gots to do right?

Welcome to...

How many people truley know what life skills is?

Life skills: “Skills that help an individual be successful in living a productive and satisfying life.” 

This is my world for 7.5 hours a day however to the child who is in the lifeskills class this is their world 24/7 365 days a year...

Now with that said who would like to join a student on his/or her daily walk? From sunrise to sunset and sometimes even 24 hours...

Kids from all different walks of the world are effected by "retardation",autism, down syndrome, cerebral palsy and so on... This is not a "only certain race, economic, or location of the world type of special needs" Its a need that faces so many families around the world!

who is special needs?

You might assume that the wheelchair boy is in life skills...You will probably be wrong. Meaning wheelchair bond kids are bright children...Even a few kids with downs, Autism etc are main streamed and can function in a regular school classroom setting. YES even Mentally challenged kids can be main streamed!

God has blessed me with a class full of all different kids from all different walks in life!
My feet are sore, my legs are sore however my heart is happy and My smile is still big as Dallas on my face!!

I am now a full timeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee paraprofessional in a lifeskills classroom! MY DREAM JOB!!!

So have yall ever read the book..."Are you there God, its me Margaret?" Something like that...I loved that book...Ive had one of those days (: Wednesday was soooo long! It was quite hectic as well. Many tears in Awanas with a few 4 year olds...I swear I walked to closet and back to carper(5 steps) another kid would be crying...must be weather...would say hormones but we all know 4's dont have them yet...Thank goodness! Today was ok just got very frustrated...andAnd a co worker of mine heard that the cancer has moved to his lungs and a bit in his liver!!! His wife died just last year...makes me Sad! Plz if you are reading this pray for Mr. M. (keeping his name anon. However God knows who he is! Hes a good man and a Godly man.

Tomorrow is the last day of the Auction at my job and I baked an italian cream cake. I baked 2 because if one of my co workers dont win the cake ive made one for her...shhhhhhhhhhhhh she doesnt know...But its for her brothers bday So why not make sure she gets what she wants for a good cause?

My home smells yummy(mothers home) My sweet Matilda is laying on my lowr back (as usual) the blood hound Abby is in her bed(mothers) eating her treat for the night...Sweet Matilda has eaten hers already.

Yall might not know my family and what we stand for...but here it is...MY family is like this...God first...always thank him or pray to him...My papa is my hero..He loves us sooo much and he clearly shows it. My family unites as one when one of us is fallen(ill, having bad luck etc) We also try to show the Bolin Love to all.
